is Oz FundRaising
Hi there. I'm the person
behind Oz FundRaising. I work at home full time and learnt
how to build websites as a hobby and a means of earning money. As
I learnt more about how to make money from merchants advertising
on my sites I thought that it would also be a quick and easy means
for schools, churches, sporting and welfare groups to do the same.
I just provide the services and the know how to make it easy
for everyone to raise funds.
Everyone needs funds nowadays.
With government funding in public schools appallingly lacking,
it's no minor achievement for schools to provide quality education
on a shoestring budget. This was how Oz FundRaising was born.
I was tired of having to help the school run fundraising activities
which made it so difficult for all the parties involved. I'm
not knocking the well meaning people working tirelessly to raise
funds for worthy causes but there's only so much Krispy Kreme Doughnuts
anyone can consume. And lots of times that's the only way
people know how to raise funds - running fetes, selling chocolates
etc. There is another way. Oz FundRaising opens
up a whole new world of fundraising using the internet for schools, preschools
and welfare groups.
It allows you to pick who you want
to promote from a list of merchants selling everything from baby
goods to flowers. The range of stuff that you can promote
is huge - all that needs to be done is to tell parents to shop for
their school. Looking to buy that bunch of flowers for someone
who's just had a baby? Then buy them via the school link and
fundraise at the same time. Christmas shopping? Then
buy via the school link and raise funds for the school. It's
quick, easy, hassle free. You don't have to handle any stock,
there's no money to account for, just receive the money straight
into the bank account month after month.
